Jerry Arlen has been and continues to be an incredible asset to our audiovisual team as we work toward publication of the digital book project ‘The Heart of Darkness’: An Annotated Open-Source Digital Archive Edition,” edited by Vincent Longo and myself. From his very first rough draft to the final deliverable, Jerry demonstrated an impressive attention to detail, mood, and to meeting our educational goals. He has helped to bring our animations to life with his lively compositions, and I gratefully offer him my full endorsement as a composer, musician, and collaborator.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jerry on my two most recent productions, Present Day, a 25-minute short film, and Recovering, an original one-hour pilot. I know that in order to achieve the best for what my production needs, I hire only the best in the given field, and that is Jerry. Not only did Jerry score two of my productions, but he also wrote original songs, one of which was performed live by a lead actor in-scene (whom he also coached).
